On A Mission to RAK Your World


We welcome Dr. Rakesh Jotwani as our first guest for 2023. Dr. Rak first joined the podcast (Perfectly Pl@nted Episode 27) to share his vegan journey, his professional awakening, and his WHY. Dr. Rak joined us today for a collective “High Five” as he shared more wisdom on how to RAK Your Life, an update on his new show, The Health Feast and some thoughts on how you can focus on your health in 2023.


In this episode, we cover a lot of ground. Dr. Rak shares with us some details about Mora Medical, a plant-based telehealth provider focused on disease reversal and deprescribing. We have a candid discussion on the challenges of our current healthcare system and some thoughts on changes that need to occur to allow us to focus on "health" care, health equity and disease prevention. Dr. Rak also shares with us a day in the life of Dr. Rak, including his energizing morning drink.

Dr. Rak’s Morning Drink Recipe


1 teaspoon matcha (buy organic Japanese culinary grade to ensure no heavy metals)

1/2 teaspoon dried amla

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon of turmeric (along with several grinds of black pepper- necessary for turmeric absorption)

2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar (ideally with the Mother)


Mix in about 20 oz of cold water in shaker bottle.
